Aethir launches Batch 6 of its $100M fund with RWA focus

Decentralized cloud computing platform Aethir has kicked off Batch 6 of its $100 million Ecosystem Fund, expanding support beyond AI agents to include promising real-world asset startups.

According to an Apr. 23 announcement on Aethir’s (ATH) blog, the fund will now support selected RWA projects with decentralized GPU cloud computing grants. After supporting more than 25 artificial intelligence-focused grantees to date, the latest group integrates RWA builders into Aethir’s decentralized cloud ecosystem.

The newest grantees include Zoo Finance, a native Berachain (BERA) protocol that offers structured asset products and liquidity vaults; Upside OS, an asset tokenization operating system that links traditional finance to digital markets; and PinLink, a RWA-tokenized DePIN marketplace that aims to reduce costs for AI developers and provide asset owners with passive income.

Instead of giving out cash, the Ecosystem Fund gives out grants in the form of decentralized GPU cloud computing power. Grantees have access to Aethir’s global GPU network, which includes over 425,000 GPU containers and high-performance chips such as NVIDIA H200s and GB200s.

This eliminates the need for costly, centralized infrastructure and enables early-stage teams to scale applications that heavily rely on AI and RWA. With Batch 6, the company hopes to assist more founders in developing the next generation of RWA and AI applications through the use of decentralized computing.

In its public announcement, Aethir noted the RWA sector is rapidly growing in popularity, already exceeding $20 billion in on-chain assets. Some analysts believe that figure could reach $500 billion by 2025, and up to $30 trillion by 2030. This growth has led to the rise of new segments like “RWAfi,” which blends RWAs with decentralized finance infrastructure.

Aethir is already working with projects like Plume and GAIB to explore these use cases. The company is supporting efforts to tokenize computing infrastructure and make it available to builders across web3 through the RWAI Initiative and its GPU Tokenization Pilot on the BNB Chain (BNB)
